The summer camp was a valuable experience for the students in a variety of reasons, including discovering a new passion, having a break from school routines, creating meaningful memories, and a whole host of other factors.
The Global Surge Camp, a youth organization located at The Highlands Camp and Conference Center in Iba, Zambales, conducted an overnight camp for Global Reciprocal Colleges. The event had the theme Overcome: “Made to Win” and took place on April 21 and 22, 2023. The camp intended to promote goodwill and enjoyment among young people by educating them to discover and develop new abilities to support a learning environment and give them real-world skills in addition to formal academic learning. Each camper’s progress on a variety of activities were constantly supervised by the counselors, facilitators, and competent teachers who were present in the event.
The summer camp contributed to the development of the students’ personal growth related to fostering the environment, interacting with other students, and maintaining discipline that is permeated by the values and love of Christ, all of which are just as important as academic knowledge.

The educational and spiritual seminars were another highlights of the college school camp. These were led by Pastor Ron Louie Lim, and covered a range of topics, including Peer pressure, Gender confusion and Dysfunctional family. They provided valuable insights and counsels to the students and encouraged them to take ownership of their future and pursue their dreams.

Aside from the productive seminars, there were also fun-filled experiences like adventure sports activities. The students were able to participate in activities such as Zipline, Giant Slide, Catching the Giant Ball, and Crossing the Bridge. These activities challenged the students to push their limits and work together as a team, provided an opportunity to experience the beauty of nature and appreciate the environment. Indeed, it was an enjoyable and memorable experience.

To sum up, this college school camp in Iba, Zambales was a resounding success. The event provided an opportunity for students to bond, learn new things, and showcase their talents. It was a testament to the college’s commitment in providing a holistic education that prepares students for the challenges of the future.

The Global Reciprocal Colleges had a 2-day youth camp at Highlands Camp, Iba Zambales, this April 21–22, 2023. The goal of the ministry is that none of those who hear the message at the camps will be lost and that each camper will understand the necessity of repentance and their need for the Savior.
With willingness, calculators, worksheets, journals, and ledgers were temporarily set aside by Global Reciprocal College – Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants. Indeed, this two-day camp has been remarkable, as it's not only brought learnings of the word of God but also relaxation and bonds with fellow JPIAns and students.
The camp was filled with soul-stirring worship, heartwarming sessions, a hearty meal, and enjoyable games. Truly, each camper was beyond delighted by their wonderful experiences. Memories that'd been established would be stored in their mind's treasure house, wherein the monuments thereof are kept and preserved.
Thank you, coordinators and facilitators from Global Reciprocal Colleges, The Highlands Camp – Iba, Zambales, and Rawlings Foundation. Truly, the message of God uplifted the campers, with the bonus of the camp's beautiful location and landscape. The memories and learnings will surely be kept, and wonderful remarks will be left.
