Global Reciprocal Colleges’ Graduation Day 2025

Global Reciprocal Colleges' Graduation Day 2025

The 13th Global Reciprocal Colleges Commencement Exercises were held on July 24, 2025, at the University of the Philippines, Quezon City, marking a significant milestone for both the graduating class and the institution. With the theme “Transformed to Lead, Committed to Reciprocate,” the event celebrated not only academic achievement but also the deeper mission of cultivating leaders grounded in integrity, service, and responsibility.

The ceremony was graced by Ms. Heidi Mendoza, former United Nations Under-Secretary-General and a steadfast advocate for transparency and good governance. In her powerful keynote address, Ms. Mendoza drew from her own journey in public service, reminding graduates that transformation is not the destination but the preparation for leadership—and that true leaders give back with humility, speak truth with courage, and act with integrity. Her words left an enduring mark on the Class of 2025, inspiring them to lead with authenticity and purpose in their chosen paths.

The occasion also became a moment of heartfelt remembrance for the late GRC Chairman Vicente Ongtengco, whose leadership, vision, and generosity of spirit have left an indelible mark on the institution. The college community expressed its profound gratitude for his years of dedicated service and the legacy of compassion, integrity, and excellence he leaves behind. His life’s work continues to inspire the graduates to pursue their goals with the same passion and commitment that he embodied.

The 13th Commencement Exercises stood as both a celebration of the graduates’ accomplishments and a call to action—urging them to serve with passion, uphold the values of honesty and compassion, and become catalysts for positive change in their communities. As these graduates step into the wider world, they carry with them not only the knowledge and skills gained at GRC, but also the responsibility to lead and give back, embodying the very ideals the institution proudly upholds.
